13" (33 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head of adult lady with oval-shaped face and elongated
throat,modeled bosom,sculpted brown hair with striated-detail of painting,elaborate curls
captured into a loosely-coiled chignon and held by a gilt-edged aqua hair band at the
crown,painted brown eyes,red and black upper eyeliner,feathered brows,closed mouth,old
muslin body and porcelain legs,original Kister porcelain arms with expressively posed
fingers,antique costume. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (Kister blue symbol inside
shoulders). Comments: A.W. Fr. Kister,successor to Dressel and Kister,circa 1890. Value Points:
beautifully sculpted hair,rarer brown eyes,maker̴s signature.
