Description
13" (33 cm.) 10"h,Posed upon a paper-covered wooden platform are two flannel-covered paper-
mache kittens with painted tabby stripes and green glass eyes,and each costumed in taffeta
party wear. The larger kitten is seated and appears to be playing the wooden violin that he holds;
the smaller kitten is standing,arms posed,ready to dance. When the handle is turned,music is
heard,the violin is busily strummed,and the little kitten dances. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Zinner & Sohne,circa 1890. Value Points: charming vignette with delightful
movements and music,all-original.
