17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head with plump cheeks,painted facial features,blue upper glancing eyes,black eyeliner with fringed lashes,short feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with very full outlined lips,brunette mohair pageboy style wig,composition and wooden ball- jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: 526 6 (head) Germany (body). Comments: Bahr and Proschild for Kley and Hahn,circa 1910,for their art character series. Value Points: especially fine quality of bisque,sculpting,and painting,original wig,body finish,wonderful Little Lord Fauntleroy blue velvet antique costume and cap.
