Description
21" (53 cm.) Bisque swivel head on bisque shoulderplate, very plump pale face, cobalt blue glass eyes, dark eyeliner, painted lashes, feathered brows, accented nostrils and eye corners, closed mouth with center accent line, hint of smile with impressed dimples at lip corners and philtrum, pierced ears, kid gusset-jointed body. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Germany, circa 1870. Value Points: very expressive features on the rare model, with brilliant cobalt eyes contrasting the delicate pale complexion, fine antique costume.
