Description
22" (56 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with very lightly tinted complexion,sculpted hair in
shaded light brown color that is drawn around the sides of the face into arranged waves that
allow just the tip of her ears to peek out at the back,then combed backward from the crown
into a tightly braided chignon at the back of her head,oval-shaped face,elongated strong
throat,aquiline nose with tiny upturn at the tip,defined eye sockets with painted blue
eyes,brown eyeliner that matches the lightly feathered brows,light rose shadow around the
eyes that is repeated at the cheeks and chin,accented eye corners and nostrils,closed mouth
with well-defined lips,new muslin body,antique porcelain limbs with painted brown heeled
boots,wearing fine antique gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent,one leg
reglued below the knee. Marks: (crossed blue swords stamp) 63 (incised with crossed sword
emblem). Comments: KPM Meissen,circa 1845. Value Points: extremely rare model with
outstanding quality of sculpting and painting of facial structure,features and hair,in fine
larger size.
