15" (38 cm.) All-carved wooden doll,swivel head with carved hair arranged in upswept
fashion,having soft curls framing the face below a topknot chignon,sculpted ears,intaglio blue
eyes,short feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with hint of smile,all-wooden spring-
jointed body,antique costume. Condition: good,original finish with much scuffing of hair
paint,nose rub,body scuffing. Marks: Schoenhut Doll Pat. Jan. 17,1911 USA and Foreign
Countries. Comments; Schoenhut,circa 1912. Value Points: rare model with excellent detail of
sculpting.
