18" (46 cm.) washing tub,15"h. wringer. A square wooden wash tub has cast iron contraption
which,when wound,causes the interior scrubbers to work; and the circular red tub has an
attached wooden wringer with cast iron frame,that is labeled "Relief Wringer,Horseshoe Brand
Clothes Wringer,Warranted for Family Use". The machine-like construction of each piece
suggests its original use as a salesman̴s sample or promotional model. American,late 19th
century. Excellent condition.
