Description
17" (43 cm.) Lightly tinted porcelain shoulder head with oval-shaped face and elongated slender
throat,sculpted hair in unusual shade of midnight-brown/black that is arranged with a center-
part and looped softly over her ears to form into a tightly braided chignon at the back of her
head,painted small blue eyes with prominent black pupils,red and black upper eyeliner,single-
stroked brows,aquiline nose with circle accents,closed mouth with accent line between the pale
lips,newer muslin stitch-jointed body and porcelain limbs,beautifully costumed in ice-blue silk
gown and undergarments. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: (blue crossed swords).
Comments: KPM Meissen,circa 1850. Value Points: exceptional sculpting creates a compelling
presence,enhanced by finest creamy porcelain and painting.
