18" (46 cm.) Cloth socket head with pressed and oil-painted facial features,painted brown hair
waved across the forehead with stippled detail,brown painted downcast eyes,black upper
eyeliner,single stroke brows,closed mouth with accent line between the shaded lips,all cloth
body with ball-jointed arms,separate thumbs,ball-jointed hips and knees,wearing green woolen
tweed suit and cap,shirt,woolen stockings,leather shoes. Condition: generally excellent.
Comments: Kathe Kruse,the first model,presented for one year only in 1910,in conjunction with
Kammer and Reinhardt. Value Points: very rare doll with wonderful original finish and
condition,unique body construction.
