Description
19" (48 cm.) overall length. 5 1/2" shoulders. 9" waist. To fit slender-bodied lady doll about 23".
The early gown is of meticulous construction,featuring tight cartridge pleats and ruching at
upper arms,cuffs,and V-shaped waist,and having large pouf sleeves and dart-shaping. The
fabric is a superb bronze-green with narrow ribbing that is beautifully positioned on the
costume. Included are three additional early undergarments including a fitted underdress and
two shifts,along with a beautiful pair of multi-colored woven canvas slippers. Excellent
condition,few small holes at back of skirt. Circa 1830.
