15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with pink-tinted bisque,sculpted blonde hair with
comb-marked detail,intaglio dark blue eyes,white eyedots,accented nostrils and eye
corners,closed mouth modeled as though open and laughing,composition and wooden ball-
jointed body,nicely costumed. Condition: generally excellent,some body repaint. Marks: Germany
5 (head) (holz-masse mark on body). Comments: Gebruder Heubach,circa 1912,with original
Dressel body. Value Points: wonderful detail of sculpting includes impressed cheek dimples and
laughter lines around the eyes.
