14" (36 cm.) x 11" box. A vibrantly colorful box with scenes of a costumed fox trying to capture
hens as they bustle about the courtyard contains "The Game of the Chickens and the Fox". The
large game board is colorfully printed with beautiful designs and contains 13 painted-metal
chickens and 1 fox which advance forward and backward on the game board according to the die
toss. Beautiful original condition with vibrant colors. Saussine,French,circa 1880.
