Description
19" (48 cm.) A miniature wooden 12-key piano with fancy cast iron legs is surmounted by a glass
cabinet with mirrored back that displays 8 tiny porcelain-headed dolls that are posed on metal
rods attached to the internal keyboard. When the piano keys are played,the dolls are designed to
dance about in the merry way. Condition: very good,costumes frail,mechanism needs adjustment
but appears complete,finish is original and well preserved. Marks: Barley's (?) Midget Piano
Co.,Patented June 21,1881 (gold lettering on piano lid) Gem (gold lettering on piano front).
