17" (43 cm.) Bisque socket head,painted facial features,dark blue upper glancing eyes,thick black
upper eyeliner,one-stroke tapered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with glazed
highlights,blonde mohair wig,composition and wooden ball-jointed body. Condition: generally
excellent,faint old hairline extends down the back of head. Marks: K*R 101 43. Comments:
Kammer and Reinhardt,circa 1910,"Marie" from their art character series. Value Points: beautiful
bisque and sculpting on the wistful-faced character,having original wig,body,body finish,and
wonderful family-made costumes including blue cotton dress,undergarments and kidskin shoes
(shown wearing) along with four additional dresses,silk kimono with knit slippers,socks,and three
silk-covered hangers.
