inset eyes,dark eyeliner,painted lashes,feathered brows,mauve-blushed eye shadow,accented
nostrils and eye corners,closed mouth with accented and outlined lips,piered ears,blonde mohair
wig over cork pate,French kid gusset-jointed body with stitched and separated fingers,lovely
couturier costume of antique fabrics,undergarments,leather boots,bonnet. Condition: generally
excellent. Comments: Pierre-Francois Jumeau,circa 1875,the gorgeous face created for this
poupee model evolved a few years later into the premiere bebe model. Value Points: an especially
beautiful example of the early poupee whose sculpting is enhanced even further by finest quality
of bisque and painting,fine sturdy original body,lovely costume.
