13" (33 cm.) Porcelain shoulder head with pale complexion and blushed cheeks,blue glass enamel inset eyes,dark eyeliner,feathered brows,accented nostrils,closed mouth with center accent line,unpierced ears,blonde lambswool wig over cork pate,kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees,stitched and separated fingers. Condition: generally excellent. Marks: Brevete SGDG (oval stamp on torso). Comments: attributed to Blampoix,the brevete stamp referencing the glass eyes,circa 1860. Value Points: appealing petite size with dainty expression,rare glass eyes,sturdy body,and wearing beautiful antique costume including snood,black velvet gown,blouse,undergarments and little leather slippers with blue bows.
