Description
3" (8 cm.) A heavy card paper baby bed with arched
top is painted original blue with silver stripes
and contains a baby with painted blue bonnet and
ruffled edge,painted facial features,and an
illusion of a body that is actually a padded
blanket. A small wooden handle at the back is
attached to the baby head and when moved up and
down,it causes the baby head to nod back and
forth. A very rare simple toy with endearing charm
is all-original. Excellent condition,some fabric
fading. Germany,circa 1850.
