Description
8" (20 cm.) A railroad porter with painted costume and lithographed streamer trunk is depicted
rushing to deliver the trunk to the train,the trunk resting on a two-wheel dolly. When coil-spring
is wound,the porter briskly walks along,pushing the cart,having jointing at the shoulders,hips
and knees that allows very realistic walking movements. Marked Lehmann,and "E.P.L. 689 Adam".
Excellent condition. Germany,Lehmann,circa 1910. The rare toy was sometimes originally
employed as a candy container as the trunk actually opens.
