Description
8" (20 cm.) A painted tin clown with white face and clown decorations,original cloth costume and
tin hat,is seated on a two-wheeled circus cart with lithographed decorations of clowns on the
wheels,being pulled by a gray mule. When wound,the cart propels forward,the clown bobs his
head,pulls the reins and the donkey's ears bob up and down while legs "walk" reluctantly. Marked
Lehmann with various patent dates. German,Lehmann,circa 1920. Excellent condition.
