18" (46 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head of adult
lady with oval face,slender elongated
throat,sculpted black hair drawn smoothly around
the sides of her face,covering her ears,and
looping into a tightly braided chignon at the
back; and having painted azure eyes in defined eye
sockets,painted brows and nostrils,closed
mouth,blushed cheeks,slender kid body with wooden
lower limbs,and wearing original undergarments.
Condition: very good/excellent,light split around
seam line at sides of head,original finish.
Comments: Germany,circa 1850,the hair style was
made popular by the beloved Queen Victoria. Value
Points: fine large size whose excellent sculpting
includes aquiline nose,defined eye sockets,rare
coiffure.
