Description
8" (20 cm.) Tosca wig drawn away from face into a cluster of curls at the nape, bendable-knee walking-style body. Wearing crisp taffeta gown in a shadow-print lime green and cream pattern, with five rows of tucking at the hem, black velvet jacket with beaded edging, taffeta faille petticoat and pantalets with lace ruffles, socks, black side-snap shoes, black woven bonnet with feathers and net veil. The costume is tagged. Near mint condition. Alexander, model 434. The doll was described in the 1957 catalog as "Aunt Agatha dressed in true ante-bellum fashion", with original box stamped 434.
