8" (20 cm.) All-wooden man with two-part swivel head, jointing at shoulders, elbows, hips and knees, painted short brown side-parted hair, painted brown eyes, painted moustache, painted brown boots and leggings. Condition: generally excellent. Comments: Schoenhut, adventurer from Terry's Adventures in Africa series, 1909. Value Points: very fine original painting of face and hair, with original wooden helmet, and wearing original green serge jacket and short pants, cartridge belt with pouch.
