Description
4" (10 cm.) One-piece all-bisque figure of Kewpie
with Civil War cap,scabbard and sword,lying on its
stomach,with one eye squinting as though aiming
his rifle at the spider that is crawling along
the rim of the dish to which both are attached.
Excellent condition. Marked with c. and with red
shield paper label. Germany,circa 1912,especially
fine state of preservation of the rare piece.
