Description
4" (10 cm.) h. 4 1/2"l. An all-bisque figural
depicts Kewpie seated on a bisque "wicker" chair
behind a matching round table,the entire
arrangement posed on a matching bisque platform.
Kewpie has topknot,blue wings,right side-glancing
eyes,and has folded arms as though he has been
instructed "don"t touch". On the table a tea
service and cookies are arranged. Marked C. in
stamp and incised with Goebel symbol and "Depose".
Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1912,designed
by Rose O"Neill,made by Goebel.
