Description
13" (33 cm.) Paper mache shoulder head with
elongated throat,sculpted hair arranged with
elaborate side curls and high braided knot at the
crown known as Apollo"s Knot,painted azure blue
eyes,painted brows,closed mouth,blushed
cheeks,slender kid body,wooden lower limbs,painted
green shoes. Condition: very good/excellent,light
hair and left cheek rubs. Comments: Germany,circa
1830,a note written on the underside of the
petticoat says "1910 - doll is 78 years old" which
would date the doll at 1822. Value Points: having
rare coiffure,the doll wears its original costume.
