Description
22" (56 cm.) Of fine wood with cherry veneer in
beautifully chosen graining,the secretary desk
features three drawer bottom cabinet,pull-out desk
surface with three hidden compartments,five
interior drawers,roll-top,and an upper cabinet
comprising center cubicle flanked by a pair of
rounded-front cabinets,with fine arched crown and
bracket feet. Pencil inscriptions of desk pieces
appear on drawer bottoms,as well as lettering that
may be maker"s name. Excellent condition. Early
19th century.
