Description
Of fine white porcelain with blue/brown shaded
background and gilt edging,the tea service
comprises lidded teapot,sugar (no lid),creamer,six
dessert plate,six saucers,and six cups. Each
piece,including the saucers,is decorated with
transfer designs of frolicking Kewpie characters.
The teapot is signed Rose O"Neill Kewpie Germany.
Excellent condition. Germany,circa 1915,a very
rare small size suitable for display with dolls
about 12"-16".
