bisque shoulder plate,almond-shaped blue glass
inset eyes with spiral threading,dark
eyeliner,painted lashes,lightly feathered
brows,rose-blushed eye shadow,accented nostrils
and eye corners,closed mouth with accented
lips,pierced ears,brunette mohair wig,kid poupee
body with gusset-jointing at hips and knees,bisque
forearms,beautifully costumed in cafe-au-lait silk
taffeta gown with lace trim,floral
garland,undergarments,stockings,shoes. Condition:
generally excellent,repair on right arm. Comments:
French,circa 1860,rare large size for this early
model indicating its luxury creation as an
exhibition or custom model. Value Points: very
beautiful face with fine sculpting and delicate
painting of pale facial features.
