10" (25 cm.) Each has felt swivel head with
pressed and painted facial features,wide-open "O"
shaded side-glancing eyes,painted lashes and
brows,closed mouth with "O" shaped lips,muslin
torso and legs,jointed felt arms. Condition:
generally excellent. Marks: each has original
paper and/or cloth Lenci labels,the boy identified
as model 310/124,the girl as 200/4. Comments:
Lenci,circa 1935. Value Points: wonderful facial
expressions enhanced by vivid fresh colors of
folklore costumes,girl with blonde mohair wig
under embroidered cap and carrying bouquet of felt
tulips.
