Description
5 1/2" shoulder width. 17" overall length. 16"
hips. Of aqua cotton sateen with full lining,the
dress has extended princess-style torso with four
graduated-length pleats below the hips. A diagonal
trim of burgundy velvet and ruffled Belgian lace
decorates the torso. The velvet also edges the
cuffs and is decorated with a delicate lace that
is repeated on the skirt tiers. There is some
fading of the aqua fabric. Circa 1880.
