Description
4" shoulder width. 12" length. A turquoise silk
gown achieves its shape from darts at the back
that end in a double box-pleat below the waist.
The gown has a simple rounded neckline and
elbow-length sleeves that are edged in lace. and
there is a wide ruffle of lace that extends down
the entire front of the gown and edges the bottom
hem. Included is a matching silk faille bonnet
with ivory streamers. Circa 1875.
