Description
4" shoulder width. 12" overall length. 3" inside
head width. A princess-style dress with black silk
front panels centered by a row of six silk-covered
buttons and handmade buttonholes is framed by
black velvet sides,back and long sleeves. The
dart-shaped back has deeply-formed scallops at the
hips with silk banding,above a pleated lower
skirt,and there is a lace ruffle at the wrists and
neckline. Along with a black velvet bonnet with
richly-draped construction decorated with a red
silk plaid ribbon. Circa 1884.
