Description
3" shoulder width. 6" waist. 12" overall length.
Azure-blue polished cotton two-piece gown with
unusual printed pattern of blue and red
dots,features a square-cut neckline with
collar,dart-shaped jacket that snugly fits the
hips,coat sleeves with flared cuffs,and an
elaborate constructed skirt with pleated rows of
fabric ruffles centered by a large fabric bow at
the front and a bustle-back with demi-train. There
is red banding at many edges,along with dainty
cotton lace edging,and a separate red ruffle at
the train. Circa 1870.
