Description
2 1/2" inside width. The brown velvet cap,designed
to form to the back of the head,is
firm-structured,edged at the back with narrow
shaded rose silk ribbons and having a black lace
bavolet. A 2" high stiffened woven crown rises
above the cap and provide a background for a
cluster of silk roses and leaves. Circa 1870.
