Description
5" shoulder width. 15" overall length. Of lustrous
coral silk satin duchesse the dress features a
bodice with set-in lace panel,rounded
neckline,set-in relaxed waist,very-full sleeves
with box-pleats at the shoulders and wide fitted
cuffs,draped sash with a very wide bow at the
back,and gathered skirt. There is a detachable
collar that falls nearly to the waist,having
diamond-point edging,and a wide ruffled lace
edging that matches the front panel. Circa 1885.
