Description
2 1/ 2" shoulder width. 7" overall length. A
dropped-wasit dress with bodice of maroon knit
decorated with embroidered dots,and trimmed with
tassels and lace-edged cuffs and neckline,has a
box-pleated burgundy silk skirt with embossed
patterns and pleated muslin under-skirt. A wide
maroon silk hip sash ties at the back in a wide
bow. Included is the original lace-covered
maroon-silk covered bonnet with burgundy silk bows
at the crown and a flounce of lace and looped red
ribbons around the forehead. Circa 1885.
