Description
5"inside width. The cap,designed to closely fit
the head,has a hand-stitched homespun inner
lining,stiffened silver fabric cover,and is richly
decorated with silver metallic embroidery around
the edges and in six rays emanating from a center
"sun" at the back center of the head. The "sun" is
accented with a silver thread tassel. Early 19th
century.
