Description
5" shoulder width. 11" overall length. Of fine
ribbed fabric in a rich cream color,the coat has
wide pleats that fall from a fitted yoke that is
hidden beneath a very large collar. The lined coat
has very full long sleeves with cuffs. The collar
is decorated with two rows of applique braid and
edged with a border of narrow-pleated ivory silk.
Along with a bee-hive bonnet of woven straw with
grosgrain edging and band,stamped "6" inside the
hat. Circa 1895.
