Description
3 1/2" shoulder length. 7" waist. 10" overall.
Cream silk faille two-piece gown with dart-shaped
bodice,and square-cut neckline,along with a
flat-front skirt that flares at the sides and
forms into gathers a the back. The gown is trimmed
with aqua silk faille arrounded in elaborately
constructed bands at the bottom of the
bodice,sleeves and hem. Beneath each band of aqua
faille trim is a wide border of pont d'argentan
lace. Circa 1865.
