Description
4 1/ 2" shoulder width. 14" overall length. 4"
inside head width. Of lustrous soft shadow-striped
velvet and silk combination fabric,the dress has a
fitted yoke,gathered bodice with ruffled upper
edge,slightly dropped relaxed
waist,cartridge-pleated skirt all around,and long
sleeves that are very full and gathered at the
shoulders,and tapering to a narrow width at the
cuffs. Included with the dress is a silk plush
beret with gold braid edging,decorated with
tri-color silk pom-poms and a white feather. Circa
1880.
