with crisp original
sizing is formed into a bonnet with box-pleated face
ruffle,lappets,and self-fabric bow at the crown
and nape. The
fabric is printed with a blue embroidery pattern
in soutache
style,designed as a pattern for young needle-works
learning the
technique. Circa 1865.
