Description
6" inside head width. The bonnet is woven in an
intricate style with
tight bands alternating with open-looped designs
that allows the
rose silk color of the lining to show. Other
intricate loops and
braids decorated the back and sides. The inside of
the wide face
brim is lined with shirred rose silk. Circa 1860.
