woven
cotton/silk with lustrous finish,the high-waisted
gown designed
for early lady doll features shirring at the
bodice with a border
of hand-made looped braid,above a full-length
skirt with flat-
front and cartridge-pleated back,both neckline and
waist
secured with strings en coulisse for adjustable
fit. The pouf
sleeves are artfully-constructed with shirring
that is given added
emphasis with intermittent gathering threads.
