Description
4 1/2" shoulder width. 14" overall length. 2 1/2"
inside head width. Of luxuriously soft lavender
silk satin duchesse,in a rich lavender color,the
gown has a flat-front with dart-shaped
back,shirring detail at the collar,cuffs,front
bodice and extending to the hem which has a band
of shirring above three ruffles of silk fringe. At
the back is a wide bow of lavender silk. Included
is a matching bonnet with wire-framed ruffled brim
and floral decoration. Circa 1880.
