Description
5" inside head width. Of soft ivory silk
faille,the bonnet is formed by a fine wire frame
and a richly detailed medallion at the back of the
head. Pleated lace and silk ribbon loops frame the
face and are framed,themselves,by an extravagant
4" ruffle of silk faille and lace. A 6"
silk-edged bavolet protects the back neck,and the
silk-lined bonnet is tied with ivory silk ribbons.
