Description
3 1/2" shoulder width. 9" overall length. Of a
fine golden color,the unusual nubby-textured
fabric creates an especially pleasing look,having
set-in brown velvet V-shaped yoke edged with
feather-stitched that is repeated on the velvet
cuffs of the wide gathered sleeves. The
wide-pleated bodice extends to a dropped waist
with relaxed fit and forms into a gathered skirt
that is trimmed with a thickly knit brown sash
with tassel ends. Circa 1890.
