Description
4" shoulders. 12" overall length. A silky velvet
dress in vibrant magenta color has a fitted yoke
and rounded neckline above a high-waist skirt that
achieves its fullness from generous pleats and
box-pleats all-around. The very full sleeves are
edged with lace as is the neckline,and the cutwork
and embroidered tulle collar generously covers the
full bodice and is emphasized with a magenta silk
bow. Circa 1890.
