4" shoulder width. 8" waist. 15" overall length.
Of black silk and
having rounded neckline with full bodice and
flat-front skirt,the
gown features wide pouf sleeves with full-cut
lining. There is a
patterned cotton lining on the bodice,and hook and
eye closures.
The somewhat irregular fit and awkward
construction suggest
workmanship by a child. 19th century,era uncertain.
