Description
6" shoulder width. 10" waist. 22" overall length.
Of a very fine taupe wool the ensemble features a
fitted jacket with defined bosom and waist,long
coat sleeves with gore detail at the shoulders,and
generous trim of brown braid which runs down the
length of the bodice and also serves as button
loops. The gored skirt has pleats at the bottom
edge,and there is beautifully accomplished rows of
stitching on the jacket and following the seams of
the skirt. Circa 1912.
