7" shoulder width. 21" overall length. Ivory silk
faille dress with square cut low neckline edged
with self-cording and lace ruffle has a
dropped-waist with pleats below the hips,five
front self-covered buttons with handmade button
holes,sleevelets with lace sous-sleeves,side-back
hip pockets. The dress has exceptional
raised-embroidery in ivory silk threads depicting
a garland vine of flowers and leaves which trails
down the front bodice,around the hips
sash,sleevelets and pockets and even on the
buttons themselves. The gown is decorated with
bronze-gold wide ribbon bows at front,back and
shoulders. Originally a child's dress but suitable
for costuming a plump-bodied bebe about 33"-37".
